Grandma Update

Since I know y’all come here for the gram update, I will give you the deets for the day.

We had her quarterly care plan meeting. She has actually gain a little weight l, which is good because she lost 20lbs when I was away. She did fall last week but no broken bones. She has a few stitches but looks great. She’s just so stubborn and refuses to use her call bell to use the bathroom. But is totally fine.

She did get covid several weeks back but like a boos (and thanks to vaccines), she was basically asymptotic and just needed supplemental oxygen occasionally. Nothing is going to kill her. She’s basically a cockroach.

She was having dinner when I came so I sat with her while she ate I’m so lucky to have this time with her. Hug your people tonight. You never know how much time you’ll have with them!

There’s some big job stuff on the horizon. I will let you know when things are more definitive but it is so nice to feel appreciated after feeling kind of like a piece of shot after having to leave 8 month early from Africa. But I’m learning I’m valuable and enough just the way I am. I’m so grateful
