To Juneau or Bust!
This is the beginning of the journey, starting in Durham, NC to the first destination of Harrisburg, PA
Hello my wonderful loved ones all over this beautiful world who have so lovingly read all my verbose ramblings these past few years! I am no longer apologizing for not updating or anything else…because through therapy and the programs of AA and Alanon, I have learned that all of that is absolutely unnecessary now. (I have also learned that no is a complete sentence and I don’t have to explain anymore beyond that, but I digress…)
The home of my dear and close friend, Jeanette in Harrisburg, PA where we spent our last night as a family before we went to onto our separate journeys.
I am interrupting this blog to use it as a travel update of my exciting roadtrip across this American and Canadian tundra to reach the destination of the next chapter in my life. I have a hotspot with my phone so I can update as I am in the car (not while driving, Mom and Nikki :). ….Yes, you read that right. Nik is not continuing on this part of my journey right now, she felt it would be too difficult to say goodbye to us in Juneau. Nina and I have scooped up my very bestest friend and sponsor, Jeanette in Harrisburg, PA and the three us chicas are continuing on. Nina and I are dropping Nikki off at the amtrack here in Harrisburg right after I log off here ( so I better stop writing), and after our very sad goodbyes, (but actually ‘see ya laters’) I will continue the story…
